Everton tipped to move for three Chelsea players – Dean Jones

Dean Jones has claimed Everton boss Frank Lampard will “keep a close eye” on three Chelsea players over the summer.

The self-proclaimed transfer insider has named West London trio Billy Gilmour, Conor Gallagher and Armando Broja as players the former Chelsea boss could bring to Goodison Park.

Jones admitted he would be very shocked if at least one of the players didn’t make the move to Merseyside by next season.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “Frank Lampard will keep a close eye on Gilmour, Broja and Gallagher situations at Chelsea over the summer.

“I’ll be amazed if at least one of them doesn’t join Everton by next season.”

Huge potential

These aren’t just players who will come in and make up the numbers at Finch Farm, they are players with huge quality who could make a genuine difference.

Gallagher has been instrumental at Crystal Palace this season and Chelsea might want to give him another season to develop before bringing him back to Stamford Bridge.

Likewise, with Broja. He has more than shown what he is capable of during his loan spell at Southampton and Thomas Tuchel might want him to also develop further before he returns to the club where they have an abundance of attacking quality.

Gilmour hasn’t quite had the same impact with Norwich but there is no doubt he offers something the Blues current midfielders do not and Lampard could surely get the best out of the Scottish youngster having done so in the past.

Everton would be a great step up for all these players and a chance for Chelsea to see where they are at with their progress.

In other Everton news, Frank Lampard’s hands are tied with ‘big players’ in the squad.
