Everton should look to sign Wolfsburg midfielder Aster Vranckx
The midfield is one area where Everton will be looking to bolster in the summer transfer window.
On paper, the Toffees are choc-a-bloc in that department. Frank Lampard acquired the likes of Tom Davies, Allan, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Andre Gomes, Fabian Delph when he joined while he further added two players in January in Donny van de Beek and Dele Alli.
That’s just one side of the story. Delph is out of contract at the end of the season, and the Toffees are in no mood to provide him a new deal.

Gomes has been very inconsistent, and Lampard may need to take a big decision on him in the summer. And Tom Davies…is just Tom Davies.
Lampard may look to convert Van de Beek’s loan deal into a permanent one, and even if he succeeds, he still should be looking to add one or two quality midfielders.
With that in mind, a potential move for Aster Vranckx in the summer makes a lot of sense.
According to latest reports from Calciomercato, the Toffees are keen to sign the 19-year-old midfielder, who is making big waves in Bundesliga with Wolfsburg.

Calm and composed on the ball, the sky is the limit for this young talent, and the Toffees must look to snap him up. A long-term investment in him with senior players around will be perfect.
The teenager has been labelled as someone who “oozes class on the ball”. He can play as a defensive midfielder, as a proper box-to-box midfielder or as an attacking midfielder.
Very strong at tackling and making long passes, he is equally good with set-pieces. He averages 1.6 tackles per game, while taking around 1.4 shots per game, per Who scored.
Clearly, he is far from the finished product. There is plenty of room for improvement, and the talent is there to shine.
In other Everton news, Frank Lampard has urged players to maintain ‘belief’ in his system.
