Everton team news for Premier League clash v Tottenham Hotspur
Frank Lampard has shared the latest Everton team news ahead of their clash against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday (March 7).
The former Chelsea boss is hopeful that Toffees talisman Dominic Calvert-Lewin will return to full training ahead of the Premier League tie.
The England international has been absent in the Toffees’ last two games with a hip abductor injury.

Demarai Gray and Andre Gomes could also return to action having missed the FA Cup tie v Boreham Wood.
Lampard said in his pre-Tottenham Hotspur press conference: “Demarai Gray had a bit of a fever going into the game against Boreham Wood when he was due to play.
“We’ve missed him and missed Demarai pretty much since I’ve been in. Demarai is a huge talent. He was flying but missed games because of injury and now not being so well.
“Andre Gomes has trained today so will be available for the squad.”
Blues defender Ben Godfrey is also set to return to training next week having missed five games with a hamstring injury but won’t be available for the Spurs showdown.

Great news
Despite Calvert-Lewin and Godfrey still expected to miss the game against Tottenham, it was a really positive press conference in terms of injury news for the Blues.
Gray has been one of – if not – Everton’s best players this season so having him return to action will be a huge boost.
Lampard will also be buzzing that Gomes will be in the squad on Monday. The boss loves to play possession-based football and the Portuguese midfielder is one of the most gifted footballers in the squad which would certainly help.

Calvert-Lewin coming back to full training is more huge news. Hopefully this time he can stay fit and make a positive impact for the team having been largely ineffective this season.
Godfrey is another player who has been sorely missed in defence and will be welcomed back by the boss with open arms.
It seems as if the Blues’ players are all returning at the perfect time as they look to see off the last stretch of the season and avoid relegation.
