Paris Saint-Germain ‘in contact’ to sign Everton striker Moise Kean – report
Paris Saint-Germain want to sign Moise Kean this summer as a ‘valuable’ backup option, with Juventus and Everton in contact over his future according to ButFootballClub.
Kean joined Juventus on a two-year loan deal in the summer, with a €28m (£23.1m) obligation to buy him in the summer of 2023. But the player has struggled on his return to Turin and the arrival of Dusan Vlahovic means his future looks bleak.
But, PSG are keen to bring the striker back to Paris after his successful loan spell last season and Juventus are considering paying the obligation fee a year early to then sell him on immediately.

According to the report, PSG made a move in the winter about potentially taking Kean but it never materialised. Since then contact between the player’s representatives and the club were ‘never broken’.
Everton are unlikely to care too much about what happens to Kean in the summer, so long as they get the money they’re owed one way or another.
Financial boost
With the recent news about Everton’s investor Alisher Usmanov having his assets in the UK frozen due to the recent Russian invasion of Ukraine, there is concern about their financial situation.
The Toffees are guaranteed their obligated amount in 2023 from the Kean deal, but if they could get it a year early for the player to move again then they would love that.

Even if they didn’t get the full amount, getting an advance on that payment would be helpful as they look to hold on to other stars during the summer window.
Kean is a top young talent but he didn’t work out at Goodison Park, so the fact they were able to secure a big-money deal to move him on is a positive.
If they get the cash in early and can put it towards bolstering their squad for next season, it would be a handy boost. If they were relegated, it would be even more important to help them stay afloat.
