Jonjoe Kenny provides update on potential new Everton deal
Jonjoe Kenny has suggested that he has not been offered a new deal at Everton, but he is not even thinking about it.
The 24-year-old, who has progressed through the academy ranks at the club, will be out of contract come the end of the season as it stands.
He has been impressive under Frank Lampard so far and has hailed the impact of Ashley Cole for his development.

Kenny said about Cole, as quoted by The Daily Mail: “I’ve spent a lot of time with Ashley working on the transition from right to left, changing my body shape and how I defend.
“He has been different class because he was the best in the world during his time so I’ve got the best to learn off. It’s a great position for me to be in.”
The defender added about his contract: “Nothing has been said. It might sound a bit clichéd but I’ve just needed to keep my head down, keep playing football and see where it takes us.
“I’ve been here 16 seasons now and, of course, I’m a boyhood Blue and I love the club. Whatever happens will happen. If I keep on performing and doing as well as I can helping Everton win games, I’m happy with that.”
Impressive
Kenny is predominantly a right-sided defender but he has made important contributions playing as a left-back this season.
With Vitalli Mykolenko out injured, he is once again expected to play in the left-back position when the Toffees will visit Tottenham in the Premier League on Monday (7 March).
Kenny has had to switch flanks after Lucas Digne was sold to Aston Villa.

Cole, arguably the best-ever England full-back in the past 15-16 years, is working with him closely and the improvement is clearly visible.
Lampard is impressed with Kenny as has recently hailed him as a ‘quality’ player.
The Toffees are sitting 17th in the table and are one place and a point above the relegation zone. The situation is far from ideal, but the Toffees do have enough quality to turn the situation around.
Under Carlo Ancelotti and Rafa Benitez, it looked like Kenny has got no future at the club, but he is a player re-born under Lampard.
It will be interesting to see if the club decide to offer him a new contract in the coming weeks.
