Jamie Carragher predicts Everton to avoid relegation despite Tottenham loss
Jamie Carragher is worried about Everton but believes that they will manage to stay in the Premier League next season.
The former Liverpool captain believes that it could change if they go on a poor run of form, but is of the opinion, that their games at Goodison Park could be the saving grace.
Everton have been the worst team on their travels this season, but have a much better record at home.

Speaking on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, Carragher said, “The only way this team is going to stay, and they will stay up, is Goodison Park. There’s been an energy and atmosphere at Goodison.
“The disappointing thing away from home, it’s about character and personality. They’re miles away in quality. Their back four is Championship level. The lack of awareness in the Everton team is frightening.
“If they don’t pick up wins from their home games, then I really fear that they could get relegated.”
Spot on
It seems hard to disagree with Carragher here.
The Toffees have been woeful away from home and they will need the Goodison Park support to be the 12th man in every game.

In terms of quality, this team seems a million miles apart from the top sides in the league.
If they continue getting pushed over like they against Spurs, then they can forget their hopes to survive.
The Premier League is unforgiving and Lampard quickly needs to get a tune out his players before it’s too late.
In other Everton news, a Sky Sports pundit has labelled a Toffees player ‘Terrible’ and ‘Awful’ after what he did in the 5-0 defeat against Spurs.
