Super Computer predicts if Everton will get relegated after heavy defeat v Spurs

Everton are predicted to avoid the drop by only a point after their humiliating 5-0 defeat against Spurs on Monday.

The Toffees currently sit in the bottom five and a heavy defeat against Tottenham did no wonders do their goal difference.

The likes of Brentford, Leeds and Burnley are all right in the dog fight and one of them appears to be going down this season.

FiveThirtyEight’s Super Computer has predicted that Everton will finish with 36 points.

Leeds and Burnley are both expected to finish with 35, which would ensure that Frank Lampard’s men will play in the Premier League next season.

Will take it

No rational Everton fan would ask for more than Premier League survival at this stage of the season.

The campaign has not panned out as many thought it would and that has a lot to do with the way the club is run.

Rafa Benitez’s appointment was never going to sit right with the fanbase and he was shown the door after a series of bad results.

The jury is still out on Lampard, but there clearly has not been much improvement since he took over.

Barring the league win against Leeds United, they’re still getting outplayed in every game and this needs to stop sooner rather than later.

In other Everton news, a Sky Sports pundit has labelled a Toffees player ‘Terrible’ and ‘Awful’ after what he did in the 5-0 defeat against Spurs.
