Clinton Morrison destroys ‘terrible’ Everton live on Sky Sports
Clinton Morrison has slammed Everton for their ‘terrible’ performance as they were thumped 5-0 by Tottenham Hotspur last time out in the Premier League.
The Toffees suffered a huge blow yet again on their travels, something manager Frank Lampard will look to rectify as they welcome Wolves to Goodison Park tomorrow.
The former Crystal Palace man emptied both barrels in his assessment of the Blues’ defeat.

Morrison said on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday (12 March): “Everton were terrible, defensively, and everyone watching it saw, they were not at the races,” he said.
Abysmal
Every Evertonian will want to completely erase that game from their memory. It was potentially the worst performance of the season, made even worse with how much was riding on the game.
A 5-0 defeat is simply inexcusable for a club as big as the Toffees. With all due respect, Spurs have been awful this season and Lampard’s side made them look brilliant – it just wasn’t good enough in every area from the players.

It is a very difficult one to call because you don’t want to get on the new boss’ back already and for things to turn toxic as so often seen at Everton but how can the new boss set his team up in such a way that allows such an easy 5-0 demolition?
It will be written off because it was an away game, and the Toffees are now expected to lose those apparently.
That must change and sooner rather than later in what little time is left of the season before they find themselves playing Championship football next season.
