Frank Lampard lifts lid on chat with Everton owner Farhad Moshiri
Frank Lampard has lifted the lid on talks held with Everton owner Farhad Moshiri amid financial concerns at the club.
The Toffees have recently confirmed they have cut ties with USM, Megafon and Yota over Alisher Usmanov’s links to Vladimir Putin, as per the Liverpool ECHO.
However, the former Chelsea boss is solely focused on football with a series of important games on the horizon.

He told ECHO: “In simple terms, we know [the situation]. We saw the statement.
“I had conversations with Mr Moshiri which are all football-related. Nothing on the financial side.
“If I am honest, I do not want to know because I have Wolves, Newcastle and then Palace and that is where my priorities lie. That is exactly where I am at.
“Of course, there are conversations to be had as we get towards the summer, but I am one month into this job.
“As much as Monday is tough to take, it also opens your eyes that those nights may come. It is not a conversation for now.”

Just play football
Many Evertonians will be in the same court as Lampard on this one.
It is a hugely important topic and the club have certainly done the right thing amid the shocking Russian invasion of Ukraine, but he will be solely concerned with footballing matters.
Hopefully, this financial crisis doesn’t have too much of an impact on the club.
They seem to have gotten away from under the mess before it could have a detrimental impact on the club but with a new stadium in the works and Everton being a multi-billion-pound enterprise, there are always concerns when something like this arises.
As mentioned, there are much bigger fish to fry in terms of the Premier League and avoiding relegation as far as the new boss and players are concerned.
Every game is a must not lose at the Blues look to get as many points on the board before the season comes to an end.
