Paul Merson predicts result of Everton showdown v Wolves
Paul Merson has backed Wolves to leave Everton and Goodison Park with all three points on Sunday afternoon.
The Sky Sports pundit has predicted that it will finish 2-1 to the away side, continuing this shocking run in the Premier League.
Merson admitted that this is a must-win for Frank Lampard, with the Toffees now in “big trouble.”

Writing in his Sportskeeda column this week, Merson insisted that trouble was on the horizon for the Toffees.
“Everton have to win this game,” he said.
“They have Wolves and Newcastle at home coming up, and they need at least four points from these two games. I don’t see how Everton are going to get that big Premier League result this season.
“The thing with Wolves again is that you don’t know what team you’re going to play. Every team will be looking at Ruben Neves now – he’s a proper player.
“Wolves are the better team at the moment, and Everton will be in big trouble if they lose this game.”

Embarrassing.
That is the only word to describe Monday’s trip Spurs, and everyone will know that in the dressing room.
One huge positive is that we have been at our best at Goodison Park this season, and the possibility of picking up three points is always better there.
Wolves haven’t exactly been consistent, either, losing to Crystal Palace at Molineux before smashing Watford in midweek.
Consistency is exactly what we have been missing too, but on a much bigger field given our shocking run of form throughout.
Three points would be huge and could even take us above Leeds and away from Burnley ahead of some big games-in-hand.
That all depends on other results, and so far, no one appears to be too bothered about winning games and pulling away.
Time to turn things around, starting here.
