Farhad Moshiri ready to sell Everton after Alisher Usmanov is sanctioned

Farhad Moshiri is ready to sell Everton after being hit by the sanctioning of business partner Alisher Usmanov, according to the Sunday People.

The newspaper reported via their print edition on 13 March [back page and page 55] that unless the Iranian-born billionaire can find new investors to help boost the coffers at Goodison Park, he’s open to selling the Merseyside club.

It is understood that losing Usmanov’s funding is a “savage blow” as it comes at a time when the Blues are battling against Premier League relegation and also in the process of building a new stadium.

If Moshiri opts to sell up, he’ll probably lose a lot of money.

Who in their right mind would buy this club right now?

Everton are in a mess both on and off the pitch with Usmanov’s sanctioning hitting the club hard in their bid to build their new stadium.

Our defeat to Wolves at Goodison today (13 March) also sees us drop further into the relegation mix. Watford, who are 17th, are now level on points with us.

Right now, Everton’s only saving grace is their two games in hand but other than that, it’s very worrying.

Moshiri has thrown hundreds of millions at this football club and not only are there worries about losing Usmanov’s funding but also Financial Fair Play.

We do want Moshiri to get out of this club and not be allowed within 20 miles of Goodison Park ever again (unless he’s going to buy Liverpool).

He’s been an absolute stain on the history of his proud football club with everything he’s touching turning into mud.

Moshiri is the worst owner in Everton’s history and is sinking this club not only into the Championship but also into financial oblivion.
