Jamie Carragher reacts to second-half incident in Everton v Newcastle
Everton secured a massive 1-0 win against Newcastle in the Premier League, thanks to a 99th-minute goal from Alex Iwobi.
In the second half, a bizarre incident took place at Goodison Park. A man wearing a T-shirt that read “Just Stop Oil” ran onto the pitch and attached himself to the goal-post with a cable tie.
The club staff brought out a pair of bolt cutters to remove the protestor who refused to leave the pitch. The game was stopped for seven minutes.

Jamie Carragher made fun of the incident on Twitter. He wrote: “How big are those bolt cutters!”
Massive three points
It was a massive win for the Toffees and they will feel slightly relieved after a recent run of poor results.
Although they stay 17th in the league with 25 points, only three above Watford, the Toffees have played two games less.
The task became all the more difficult after Allan was sent off with seven minutes remaining for a challenge on Newcastle substitute Allan Saint-Maximin.

However, a brilliant move involving substitute Dominic Calvert-Lewin found Iwobi who found the bottom corner with a fantastic finish.
Goodison Park erupted in joy, while the players and the manager hugged each other in joy. It was only their second win in 13 Premier League games.
Everton gave the impression of a team that lacked confidence. The win, however, could act as a driving force for the Toffees as they look to avoid the drop.
The Toffees managed only 38% of possession and could register only three shots on target, according to BBC Sport.
