Ray Parlour wants Arsenal to sign Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour wants the Gunners to sign Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin this summer in a ‘realistic’ deal.
The England international has missed much of the season through injury this year, restricting him to just three goals in ten appearances for the Toffees.
But his form in previous seasons has been enough to convince talkSPORT pundit Parlour that he’s the man Arsenal should sign this summer to bolster their attacking options.

“I’d also be interested in signing Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Everton because he would add a new dynamic to the forward players already at the club,” he said.
“I think he would hold the ball up well and interchange passes with runners from midfield. He’d be a huge benefit to the likes of [Bukayo] Saka and [Emile] Smith-Rowe.
“Ivan Toney and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are realistic targets who would improve the club this summer and I’m excited to see what happens.”
No no no
If Everton want to build next season, they need to keep their best players and there’s no question that Calvert-Lewin is one of them.
Obviously if Frank Lampard’s side are unable to avoid relegation and end up in the Championship then it’s highly unlikely that he’ll stay at the club, allowing Arsenal a big opportunity.

But if they can survive and are playing top flight football next season, Calvert-Lewin has to be part of it so as to avoid the same issues happening again because he’s ‘brilliant‘.
His physical attributes are tailor-made for the Premier League and Everton are a far better team with him in it. It would be a mega-money deal if it did happen and would be a huge blow for the Toffees.
Resist all offers and keep him at the club for another season to try and build, otherwise this season will be one of many where they battle relegation.
