Karen Carney reacts as Everton winger Andros Townsend gets injured v Palace
Everton winger Andros Townsend was taken off in the first half after he suffered a nasty injury in the 4-0 loss against Crystal Palace in the FA Cup.
Townsend was playing brilliantly for the Toffees who looked a far better team of the two so far.
However, he looked like rolled his ankle and looked in a lot of pain. After receiving treatment, he was taken off.

Karen Carney reacted to the incident, as relayed on BBC Sport website: “Straight away I thought that was a bad one because there was no one around him and the way he landed his ankle rolled.
“A player knows how they go down and how he went down I thought, ‘ouch’. They’re not good ones.”
Painful
Townsend was playing superbly. He whipped in some fantastic crosses for Richarlison before he got injured.
He picked up Michael Keane with yards out, but neither he nor Ben Godfrey could hit the target, which should have been the opening goal for the Toffees.
Townsend didn’t need the stretcher but was helped by two medical staff to walk around the pitch. He was replaced by Demarai Gray.

It was a sad end for the Englishman and it definitely hampered the momentum for the visiting team.
The little break disrupted the flow, and it helped Patrick Vieira get his message across to his players.
Moments later, the Toffees scored the opening goal through Marc Guehi who got his first senior England call-up this week.
Michael Olise whips the second corner from which Guehi found the net.
Everton will have to regroup as the momentum has shifted completely. The Toffees have struggled badly after going down, and this could be a long afternoon for them.
