Everton striker Salomon Rondon makes admission on international future
Everton striker Salomon Rondon is not thinking about quitting international football.
The 32-year-old is an experienced player for Venezuela, and he is the top scorer for his country.
Rondon has suggested that he wants to continue playing for his country and aims to reach the milestone of 100 caps.

“I don’t think about leaving. I feel hungry and want to continue competing, to play everything. I feel that I continue to do things well and that is what has always been instilled in me since small,” said Rondon, as quoted by Ovacion.
“And I’m hungry for anything. As long as I feel hungry, I’m going to continue competing. I don’t see myself at that moment yet. The injuries have respected me well and I hope to reach the next World Cup competing in the best way.”
Poor for the Toffees
Rondon was signed by Rafa Benitez in the summer transfer window on a free transfer, but it’s fair to say the move hasn’t worked out for him.
He struggled for regular games under the Spaniard, and the same trend has continued under Frank Lampard as well.
He has managed eight starts and a further six appearances have come from the bench in the Premier League.

What has been really frustrating is that Rondon wasn’t given proper chance when Dominic Calvert-Lewin remained injured for a long spell.
In the FA Cup clash against Boreham Wood, Rondon showed his goalscoring instinct by netting twice. However, he hasn’t featured after that.
He has been a model professional and has prepared himself ready for the team. It seems like Lampard doesn’t have enough faith in him at the moment.
Considering his experience and physical stature, he could have added a different dimension to the side, but unfortunately, he’s being frozen out.
