View: Everton ace Richarlison makes awful comments on rivals Liverpool
Everton forward Richarlison has really embarrassed himself with his latest comments on Merseyside rivals Liverpool and Virgil van Dijk.
The two sides will go head-to-head in the Premier League at Anfield on April 24 in what will likely be a decisive fixture at both ends of the table.
The Brazil forward is controversial with how he conducts himself both on and off the pitch and his comments on the Reds has sparked some debate amongst the Toffees fans.
As per The Sportsman, he said: “Everybody in England hates Liverpool.
“Everyone is obsessed with Van Dijk, but he’s not the best in the world.
“Thiago Silva, Marquinhos and Sergio Ramos are all better than him.”
Awful judgement
This is cringeworthily embarrassing for Richarlison. Everton are on the cusp of relegation, have just been battered by Crystal Palace in the quarterfinal of the FA Cup and in the middle of potentially their worst season in their rather long history and he is talking about Liverpool.
The 24-year-old claimed everyone is obsessed with them but in all honesty, he looks to be the one who is obsessed.
They are currently fighting on all three fronts with one trophy already in the bag.

Richarlison has done himself no favours at all and he really should be focussing on himself and his team before the Blues’ relegation nightmare becomes a reality.
The next few months could be club defining for Everton and this team. If they go down it would be the worst thing that has ever happened to the club.
Frank Lampard needs to get a grip of this squad and turn things around quickly.
