Everton in way of Juventus new signing due to Moise Kean stalemate

Juventus are looking for a way out of their loan obligation to buy Moise Kean from Everton in the summer with a new signing on their radar, according to Calcio Mercato.

The Italian club have a mandatory future fee of £23.7million in the loan deal for the 22-year-old but performances haven’t been up to the standard expected from the Old Lady.

His time in Turin looks destined to end but first, Everton and Juventus have to come to an agreement that would either see Kean sign for the Italian outfit or be released from his obligation and return to Merseyside.

Juventus are particularly keen to see him return to England because they have their sights set on Sassuolo’s Giacomo Raspadori but they would not be able to sign both players in the same transfer window.

Paris Sanit-Germain could offer a way out for both clubs though with Mauricio Pochettino interested in signing the 22-year-old for the French champions-elect.

Stand firm

Juventus might be a bigger name on the world stage than Everton but the club cannot afford to be bullied into accepting their demands.

The Old Lady made the decision to sign Kean permanently at the end of his loan spell and they opted to make that mandatory which is something they should be held to.

It’s their own mistake that they shouldn’t be allowed to be undone now and they need to live with that.

The only reason why Everton should accept to eradicate that obligation is if PSG come in and offer a bigger transfer fee than what the Turin club are offering.

The French side have the money to do so and they could see some of their attacking talents leave at the end of the season too so they will need replacements themselves.
