Paul Brown tips Everton starlet Anthony Gordon to return v Burnley
Daily Star journalist Paul Brown has tipped Everton starlet Anthony Gordon to make his return tonight [April 6] at Turf Moor.
Frank Lampard’s side travels to Burnley for their crunch Premier League six-pointer where they will look to extend their three-point gap on the drop zone.
With the Blues’ academy prospect dropping to the bench in the 2-1 defeat to West Ham, Brown has tipped Gordon to return to the starting line-up against the Clarets tonight.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “I’d be surprised if he isn’t. He’s been one of Everton’s most important players this season, and Lampard’s clearly been very impressed with him since he came in.
“I think he’ll be back in tonight and will give them a big lift.”
Make or break.
Gordon has to play; it is as simple as that.
Despite only being 21 and bursting onto the scene this season, the Scouser has established himself as a stalwart under Lampard.
He has been the best player certainly under the new manager and probably all season long as the senior Toffees players continue to put in lacklustre performances week after week.

The winger has been brilliant this season with his energy absolutely relentless.
It seems at times as if he is the only player who fully understands what it means to play for Everton Football Club and his performances are synonymous with that.
Lampard has to put him back into the starting line-up, there was a clear difference when he came on at the London Stadium, but it wasn’t enough.
Maybe the former Chelsea boss was resting him for tonight?
Regardless, of why he didn’t play last time out, he has to play tonight, this game could be the difference between the Blues staying in the Premier League and going down come the end of the season.
