Paul Merson predicts Everton clash vs Manchester United
Paul Merson says Everton will be relegated if they lose to Manchester United on Saturday, is predicting them to take all three points.
The Toffees have lost six of their last seven Premier League games and find themselves just one point above the relegation zone ahead of hosting the Red Devils.
With their end of season run-in looking horrible, Merson thinks defeat could spell the end of their Premier League tenure but he told Sportskeeda that he feels Frank Lampard’s side will claim a 2-1 victory.

“Everton suffered a damaging defeat against Burnley and could be in the bottom three by Saturday evening, but something tells me they’re going to beat Manchester United,” he said.
“This is a cup final for Frank Lampard’s side, and they will have to play consistently across 90 minutes to get a result, which has been a major problem for them in recent weeks.
“Manchester United are just all over the place at the moment, they weren’t good enough against Leicester City last weekend. There’s a lot of talk that they’re better off without Cristiano Ronaldo, but I’m afraid I have to disagree with that idea.
“Everton’s next few games are absolutely atrocious and I think they’ll probably get relegated if they lose this one, as Burnley’s run-in looks a lot simpler on paper.
“After this game, they have Leicester twice, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal to play till the end of the campaign along with other teams. You can call me mad, but I can see the Toffees getting all three points here.”

Please
Everton have got a decent record against Manchester United in recent seasons, but they are in desperate need of points and need it to continue now.
United have been a shambles themselves, but they essentially are playing for pride this season now. Everton need the win to stand any chance of turning their season around.
The fans will be up for it as usual, but the players need to finally stand up and be counted because there is only so much the fans can do.
Lampard needs results to cement his position and if there was a top team they could choose to face off against right now it would be Man United.
It’s do or die time for Everton and Goodison Park is the perfect battleground for them to get started, so fingers crossed they can prove Merse right and help their survival hopes.
