Ralf Rangnick shares Cristiano Ronaldo update after Everton fan saga

Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick has given the latest update on the Cristiano Ronaldo saga after he broke an Everton fans’ phone at Goodison Park.

The Portugal international was visibly disgruntled as he left the pitch suffering a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Frank Lampard’s team.

As Toffees fans taunted the Real Madrid legend, he swiped one of their hands away subsequently breaking their phone.

The Red Devils boss told Manchester Evening News: “I think he apologised on social media for what happened,” Rangnick said.

“There’s still an investigation going from the police and FA. But apart from that, I haven’t spoken about that with him.”

Disgrace.

Ronaldo is a spoiled brat. He came to Liverpool, got beat by Everton and threw his toys out of the pram at the end of the game.

The 31-year-old really should know better. He has been arguably the most famous footballer of all time for almost two decades now and that sort of response just isn’t on.

If it had been the other way around and a Blues fan had done that to the Manchester United forward, there would be country-wide outrage and the authorities would have dealt with the individual by now.

The police need t make an example of Ronaldo because if he gets away with his terrible actions, what is stopping other footballers from doing the same?

Unfortunately, he will most likely get away with it though because, at the end of the day, it’s Ronaldo and with the status and money the forward has, he can virtually do what he likes.

In other Everton news, a major Burnley decision has let Everton “off the hook” according to former Arsenal ace Martin Keown.
