Paul Brown shares ‘dire’ Everton financial state that will see key men leave
Paul Brown has shed light on a “dire” financial situation for Everton that could see some key players leave as they look to generate some revenue in the summer transfer window.
Key stalwarts Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin have continuously been linked with moves away from Merseyside in the summer.
The Daily Star journalist believes it is “inevitable” that the Blues sell one of their forwards amid their current financial crisis.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “It’s inevitable that one of them goes because the financial position the club finds itself in is so dire that they know they have to sell someone to generate some revenue.”
Disaster
When you consider the amount of money that Farhad Moshiri and his brainless team have spent over the last several years, and what they have spent it on, it is disastrous that the Blues now have to sell either one of their two best players in the summer.
The Toffees could even end up being without them both as clubs circle looking to prise them away from the sinking ship that is Everton Football Club.

Frank Lampard seemingly can’t catch a break at the club. He looks to have steadied the ship enough for them to stay in the Premier League – for another season – but the financial concerns are massively worrying.
How is the former Chelsea boss going to transform this absolute mess of a squad if he has no money to spend and having to sell key players just makes matters worse.
It might have to be the case of selling the Calvert-Lewin or Richarlison and bringing in one or two cheap but vital replacements in areas of the squad that are in desperate need of attention.
In other Everton news, the Blues are to axe several senior players in summer for “hungrier” alternatives according to Chris Beesley.
