Everton must make solid attempt to sign Newcastle winger Allan Saint-Maximin
Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin has made a cryptic admission over his future and it should interest Everton.
According to a report from TeamTalk, the Toffees are one of the clubs interested in signing the 25-year-old dazzling winger who is known for his blistering pace and mazy skills.
Maximin was one of the star performers for the Magpies during Steve Bruce’s underwhelming spell as Newcastle manager.

However, the Magpies are now in a new era. Eddie Howe has brought in players of his choice, and more top names are expected to arrive in the summer, as they look to climb up the table.
Saint-Maximin has made 29 appearances in the league this season, scoring five goals and providing three assists.
He is capable of playing in all three positions up front while can also play as a striker if needed. Blessed with great dribbling prowess and innate ability to pick key passes, he would be an asset for any side.
The French winger was magnificent in the 3-1 win against the Toffees back in February, and he is the kind of winger who can actually galvanise the club.
Saint-Maximin has suggested that he hasn’t left the club because of the fans but could soon make a decision on what’s best for him.

“To be honest every year people think I am going to leave. And finally I stay,” the winger told Chronicle Live.
“I stayed because I love the club and love the supporters. I will see what is happening and what is the best for my future. At this time, I really want to be focused. And after the season I will decide what I will do.”
Everton, crippled by finances, may struggle to lure him in the summer, but the club should make every attempt to get him on board. They must bid for him and try to lure him to Goodison Park.
If Richarlison or Dominic Calvert-Lewin leaves the club, Maximin could be the right candidate to fill the void, although he is a different type of player.
In other Everton news, the club are set to pay the council £350,000 as anger is rising over wasted public money.
