Everton ready move to sign Michy Batshuayi as Chelsea prepare to sanction sale
Everton are among a number of Premier League clubs ready to make a swoop for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi in the summer, according to TeamTalk.
The news outlet claims that Batshuayi, 28, will enter the final year of his contract this summer and is attracting attention from across England and Europe.
It is understood that Brighton, Leeds, Southampton and Wolves are also eyeing up the Belgium striker, who’s spent this season on loan at Besiktas.

TeamTalk says Everton, as well as those other Premier League clubs are “believed to be considering a move” for Batshuayi with Chelsea getting ready to sanction the forward’s exit.
Worth it?
Everton are going to undergo a big change in the summer regardless of what division they’re playing in.
While the landscape at the bottom end of the Premier League table looks a lot better now than it did a couple of weeks ago, there’s still the threat of relegation.
Of course, going down will change our targets but if we stay up, we imagine that Batshuayi’s name is one that’ll be discussed behind the scenes at Goodison Park.

Obviously, Frank Lampard has links to Chelsea and he has managed Batshuayi when he was manager at Stamford Bridge.
But Lampard wasn’t exactly the biggest of fan of the Belgian. According to the Mirror, Lampard “ruthlessly axed” Batshuayi in the summer of 2020.
However, Batshuayi did have some success under Lampard’s leadership. He was quoted by talkSPORT in October 2019 as saying: “I know Michy can finish.”
And his goal record of 14 in 28 league games at Besiktas this season does back that up but there’s a world of difference between the Turkish Super Lig and the English Championship – let alone the Premier League.
In other Everton news, this “outstanding” striker has admitted he’s open to a loan exit as he looks for crunch talks with his agent.
