Phil Neville agrees with Everton fans on atmosphere of Goodison

Ex-Everton captain Phil Neville has sent a message for the Toffees’ game against Leicester; concurring with fans that Goodison makes a special atmosphere.

The current Inter Miami boss took to his Twitter account to post a one-word acknowledgement of Bluekipper.com‘s message that Goodison creates a noise like no other, simply posting the word “agree” when sharing the post.

Frank Lampard’s side face Leicester in a crucial game at the famous old ground ahead of tricky fixtures against rivals Liverpool and Chelsea.

Support Needed

With the season approaching its nailbiting finale Everton need their supporters to be loud and proud now more than ever.

It’s been a disastrous season for the club, sacking controversial summer appointment Rafa Benitez in January and Lampard unable to significantly reverse a slump that currently sees them sit just three points clear of the relegation zone.

This game against the Foxes is a game in hand for the Toffees on their relegation rivals Burnley and it’s vital they take something from this encounter when you look at the respective fixture list for both sides.

Everton

The Goodison faithful have had to endure some terrible moments over the course of the season and frustration has been boiling high on Merseyside for some time, but for now, that has to be put to one side as the club desperately try to secure their Premier League status.

Only once that is certain can they start trying to piece together the mess they find themselves in.

In other Everton news, Mo Salah has taken a slight shot at the club ahead of the Merseyside derby.
