Vitalii Mykolenko proves his quality in Everton v Leicester
Vitalli Mykolenko is gradually proving his worth to the Everton side under Frank Lampard.
Eyebrows were raised when Rafa Benitez signed a hitherto unknown player in the January transfer window from Ukraine.
After initial struggles at the club, the 22-year-old is growing in stature, and he is producing top-quality performances one after another.

Settling in a new country and in a new league is always difficult. The situation wasn’t ideal for him with the club themselves fighting for survival.
On top of that, he has gone through a severe emotional trauma after Ukraine was invaded by Russia. It wasn’t easy for him to perform straightaway.
However, in the last few games, the youngster has shown his quality.
He was one of the top performers for the Toffees in the 3-2 defeat against Burnley. He was outstanding in the 1-0 win against Manchester United.
The left-back continued his impressive form against Leicester City on Wednesday where he once again had an assured performance at the back.

He was one of the few players who actually carried on the momentum from the United game, maintaining a certain high level of consistency.
Mykolenko was solid at the back, making two interceptions and two clearances, as per Who Scored.
One could see a player on the pitch who was full of energy. He attempted two crosses and five long balls, and played out one key pass as well.
There’s still a lot more to come from him, but he is showing glimpses of his vast potential already.
In other Everton news, one Toffee shocked the commentary team with “one of the misses of the season” against Leicester.
