View: Everton must go all out to sign Barcelona starlet Gavi this summer
Everton are in the midst of a fierce relegation battle but back-to-back wins against Chelsea and Leicester have increased optimism of survival in the Premier League.
The Toffees are placed in the 16th position of the league table, a point ahead of the 18th placed Leeds United with a game in hand.
If Everton manage to find a way to stay in the top-flight football next season, they must try and ensure that their transfer activity will be much better than the one in the past.

For this purpose, one of the players they should definitely look for is Barcelona’s young midfielder Gavi.
As per Spanish media outlet AS, they are one of the clubs who are keen on acquiring the services of the 17-year-old who is about to enter the last 12 months of his contract with the Catalan-based outfit and the discussion about the renewal is not going as per plan.
However, Everton’s management must make a move for the Spain international as quick as they can as they will have severe competition from the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

Maestro.
Gavi has been extremely impressive ever since making his debut for Barcelona. Despite aged just 17, the Los Palacios y Villafranca-born has already become a permanent member of the club’s first team.
Gavi has played the third-highest minutes (2,839) amongst the midfielders from Barcelona in the ongoing campaign after Sergio Busquets (4,240) and Frenkie de Jong (3,347).
In 44 matches for the club in all competitions in the current campaign, the central midfielder has scored twice and provided six assists.
Should the Toffees remain in the Premier League, they have to start a new era, and there would be no better way of doing that than starting with this transfer.
Get it done.
