Everton star Richarlison opens up about pitch invasion after Premier League survival
Everton striker Richarlison has revealed that he had “never witnessed” the kind of pitch invasion that took place after the match against Crystal Palace.
The Toffees confirmed their place in the Premier League for next season after a breathtaking comeback from two goals down, to secure all three points at Goodison Park on Thursday.
Talking about the match, via Globo Esporte, the Brazil international also highlighted the tension around the stadium during the contest.

“The invasion of the crowd was something I had never witnessed in my career,” he said.
“They were all very distressed, worried about the situation, and in the end it was a relief for everyone to win and escape relegation. It was all very exciting.”
Key player
Richarlison has been a key player for Everton ever since moving from Watford in a deal worth £35.28 million in the summer of 2018.
Since then, the Brazil international has managed to score 53 goals and provided 14 assists in 152 appearances across all competitions.
In the ongoing campaign, he played a big role in helping the Toffees to keep their berth in the Premier League after he scored 10 goals and provided five assists

With Everton now secured to keep their place in the top-flight for another season, the fans will now be worried regarding the future of Richarlison, who is undoubtedly one of the most valuable assets at the club.
There have been reports that a number of big clubs across Europe are eyeing a move for the 25-year-old and it will be interesting to see if manager Frank Lampard will be able to keep their star player at the club.
