Fabrizio Romano shares latest update on Everton loanee Moise Kean

Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Arsenal are currently not looking to Everton forward Moise Keane.

Earlier this month, TuttoMercatoWeb reported that the Toffees loanee could be on his way to join Arsenal in the summer.

However, Romano has refuted such claims, but he added that there are chances he could leave Juventus, with the Italian giants looking for a solution.

Romano wrote for Caughtoffside: “Despite reports to the contrary, Moise Kean was not offered to Arsenal.

“The Gunners remain focused on signing Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City; but Kean could leave Juventus in the summer, the club is already looking for a solution.”

What next?

Last week, Calciomercato reported that the Toffees are not willing to negotiate another loan deal for Kean.

The 22-year-old joined Juventus on a 24-month loan in the summer of 2022 with an option to make the deal permanent for a fee of around £26.7 million.

The Italy international has found it hard to cement his place in the Old Lady’s starting line-up, and Romano claims that there is a chance that he could be set for the exit once again before the completion of his loan spell.

Kean showed his class during his loan spell with Paris Saint-Germain and it remains to be seen what the future holds for him in the summer.

Will Frank Lampard take a look at him during the pre-season? The chances are slim.

He joined the Toffees with high promise and a strong reputation, but he failed to make an impact at Goodison Park.

The fact that Everton were more than happy to let him go to Juventus, especially at a time when they were short of options in the forward department shows that he is not highly thought of.

It looks like he has got no future at Everton. The club need to sell fringe players to free up the space and wage for potential new arrivals. Kean’s future at Merseyside is as good as over.
