Patrick Vieira will ‘participate’ in FA investigation on Everton and their fans
Patrick Vieira has said that he will help the FA with their investigations on the Goodison Park incident after Everton beat Crystal Palace 3-2 last week.
An emphatic second-half comeback secured Frank Lampard’s side’s Premier League safety amid their crunch relegation battle which saw fans stream onto the pitch celebrating.
The Eagles boss was taunted by Evertonians on the pitch and lashed out – kicking one fan to the floor.
The FA are now investigating the incident and Everton for the behaviour of their fans.
Vieira told Daily Mail: “I am not there yet. I will participate with the FA and talk about the incident and give my opinion and my view.
“Again, it is not about just that incident. It is about all the incidents and it happened too often in the last couple of weeks and we need to reflect on that and make a decision so players, staff and fans can be safe going to watch football matches.”
Behave.
It was wrong what the fans were doing but surely, he should be under investigation as well rather than helping the FA.
You can’t just go around kicking fans regardless of what they have done. He is a professional, a role model and what will the young aspiring footballers be thinking watching a Premier League manager lash out like that?

It is such a shame that people have forgotten how t behave whilst celebrating their teams’ achievements.
Pitch invasions have been going on for years now but there has been a recent surge in incidents and it needs to stop.
That is part of the joy of being a football fan at the end of the season but it will soon come to an end if people can’t control themselves.
The scenes at Goodison Park on the night the Blues secured Premier League safety was something to behold. It was amazing seeing all of the players and staff on the pitch with the fans celebrating as one.
