Everton in hot pursuit of Leeds United winger Jack Harrison
Everton are among a number of Premier League clubs in the hunt to sign Jack Harrison from Leeds United this summer, according to 90min.
The online news outlet claims that West Ham are also interested in signing the 25-year-old winger while Newcastle are said to be “considering a move”.
It is understood that Leeds’ star winger Raphinha is edging towards a move to Barcelona and 90min says that it remains to be seen what the club’s stance on Harrison will be should the Brazilian leave.

Good business?
It’s not hard to see why Everton are looking into signing Harrison.
He’s been in good form at the back-end of this season for Leeds, playing a big role in their survival by scoring four goals in the final nine games.
The ex-Manchester City winger, who joined Leeds permanently last year after three seasons on loan at Elland Road, also scored the all-important winner against Brentford on the final day of the season to keep his side in the Premier League.
Harrison is also a left-winger, which is an area Everton should look to add to in the summer, he’s English and he’s approaching the prime of his career at the age of 25.
Everything about this makes sense – Harrison is even someone who knows Frank Lampard well.

Both played alongside one another at New York City and speaking on Sky Sports News [5:25pm, 12 February], as quoted by HITC, Lampard dubbed Harrison “one of the best wingers in the league”.
Lampard also texted Harrison after Leeds won promotion [Daily Mail, 1 November, 2021].
However, we feel as though this won’t be an easy deal to pull off.
West Ham and Newcastle are bound to be able to spend more money than Everton this summer due to the Financial Fair Play issues at Goodison Park, it might be difficult to agree a fee with Leeds.
