Manchester United believe they have a strong chance of landing Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Manchester United believe they have a strong chance of landing Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin this summer, according to Sport Bible.
The 25-year-old has been subject to interest from both Newcastle and Arsenal ahead of the transfer window.
However, as reported by Sport Bible on Wednesday [1 June], Erik ten Hag’s United believe they have a “strong chance” of landing the striker with the Dutchman keen on him.

It was also reported that a deal in the region of £40million could be enough to prize the England international away from Goodison Park.
Strong position
Everton’s financial issues have been well-documented of late, but the striker is still contracted to the Toffees until the summer of 2025.
This means the Merseyside club hold plenty of bargaining power when it comes to a potential transfer away from Frank Lampard’s side.
Anything less than £50million wouldn’t be a good deal for Lampard and Everton.

Calvert-Lewin is coming into the prime of his career and with United desperate to add another striker to their ranks, the Toffees can ask for their valuation of Calvert-Lewin.
A move away wouldn’t be a bad outcome for the Everton striker.
He enjoyed a good finish to the season but his promising career has certainly faltered during the 2021-22 season.
The striker has all the attributes to be a superb signing for any Premier League club and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him succeed elsewhere.
But a move away could generate some much-needed funds for Everton and also rejuvenate his stuttering career.
In other Everton news, the FA have followed up that move with a new charge for a key Toffees figure just a day later, but he seems not to care based on his defiant response online.
