Everton can seal transfer jackpot by signing Steven Bergwijn
Everton should look to move for Tottenham Hotspur winger Steven Bergwijn in the summer transfer window, irrespective of what the future holds for Richarlison.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, the Toffees have been interested in the 24-year-old winger. Ajax are also interested in taking him, with the player keen on leaving the north London club this summer.
The report adds that Spurs are ready to sell him, but they have rejected an offer in the region of £17million from the Dutch giants.

The Toffees should come up with a better offer than Ajax and secure his signing at the earliest. He will be a masterstroke signing from Lampard if he can pull off the deal.
Need for a winger
The Toffees need to bolster their wing positions in the summer, and quality additions are needed. The likes of Anthony Gordon, Demarai Gray, Andros Townsend and Alex Iowbi collectively did well last season, but Lampard needs genuine quality – players who can make a huge impact to the side.
Versatile
Bergwijn is a versatile forward. He can play in the three positions up front, plus can operate as a striker if needed.
He has scored 52 goals in his club career and is a regular member of the Dutch national side.

At 24, he is fast appeaoching the prime years of his career, and it’s high time Everton must pounce on him.
He scored only eight goals in 83 appearances for Spurs, but he operated under different managers, most of them failing to use him properly.
Replacement for Richarlison?
He can be a perfect replacement for Richarlison if the Brazilian decides to move on.
Everton can expect to get a high transfer fee for him, and Bergwijn will come at a reasonable price. Considering his experience, goal scoring ability (15 goals in 2018-19 season), and his willingness to move on and play regularly.
The Toffees can’t afford to miss out on him.
In other Everton news, a European club are ready to make a decision this summer that will either net the Toffees €4million or €28million.
