Everton star Richarlison ranked in top 100 most expensive players in world
CIES Football Observatory has released a list of the top 100 most expensive footballers with Everton star forward Richarlison being included.
The ranking was based on each player’s estimated transfer value ahead of the start of the summer transfer window on July 1st.
The Premier League dominated the list with almost half [41] of the players included playing in the English topflight.

With an estimated transfer value of £45million, the Brazil international was ranked 89th on the list – narrowly trumped by Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic and Tottenham’s Heung-Min Son whilst beating Manchester United’s Harry Maguire as well as Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale.
PSG’s Kylian Mbappe topped the list with a staggering £175million fee with Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior [£158million] and Manchester City’s new star Erling Haaland [£129million] completing the top three.
Star boy.
This is great news for Everton should they wish to sell one of their key assets in the summer which could very well be a possibility.
The Blues have flirted with FFP regulations for quite some time now and if they want to back Frank Lampard in the summer to rebuild the squad, the Blues will have to conjure some money from somewhere.

Cashing in on at least one star is seemingly the best bet at doing so and that could very well be Richarlison – and should be – after this list has been released.
Make no mistake, the 25-year-old is such an important player to the Toffees but not quite as important as Calvert-Lewin.
The England international scores far more goals when fully fit and will be imperative to the way Lampard’s team will look to play in the 2022/23 campaign. The former Sheffield United man will undoubtedly be much harder to replace too because there aren’t many better strikers around than him – when he is at his best.
The fact that Richarlison is worth significantly more is another reason why the Brazilian should be sacrificed for the good of the club.
