Everton want £15m to sell Yerry Mina, actively looking for deal
Everton want to sell Yerry Mina this summer and are looking to recoup around £15m from his sale, according to a report by ExWHUemployee [June 8].
The former Barcelona man has proven to be a key member of the defensive unit at Goodison Park, but injury problems have plagued his time at the club and as he enters the final 12 months of his deal it seems as though they are now willing to let him leave.
ExWHUemployee, who is well known for his inside scoops on his Patreon with West Ham, recently began a new “Transfers Podcast” to detail his information on other clubs, where he shared news that the Toffees are looking to part with Mina.

“Yerry Mina, who I think is a Colombia centre-back, they are trying to recoup about £15m for him,” he said. “His contract is up at the end of [next] season.”
Mina made just 14 appearances in all competitions last season for Everton and missed much of the run-in that saw them survive relegation with a calf injury.
Needed
Mina has been great when he’s on the pitch, but his injury record is poor and this club needs players that can show they’re reliable when the going gets tough.
The best ability of all is availability and it doesn’t matter how good he is if he’s never fit enough to play games for the club.

The reported imminent arrival of James Tarkowski will go some way to replacing his leadership and qualities on the pitch, while any transfer fee received for him will go towards strengthening other areas of the pitch too.
Mina is 27-years-old and entering his prime so £15m seems like a more than fair deal for anyone looking to sign him as he enters the final 12 months of his deal.
It’s a shame to see him leave, especially considering the other defenders at the club currently, but it seems like a decision that had to be made and now has been.
