Everton expecting formal bid from Tottenham for Richarlison, Atletico Madrid join race
Tottenham are expected to make a formal bid for Everton forward Richarlison this week, while Atletico Madrid have joined the race for his signature too according to 90min [June 11].
The Brazilian winger was said to be in “advanced negotiations” with Spurs over a £52.1m deal, as reported by Bruno Andrade on June 11, but Everton are said to be holding out for more than that should they be forced to sell according to David Ornstein of The Athletic.
But a fresh report claims that while Spurs prepare their opening formal offer to go into Goodison Park this week, four other clubs have already made contact in recent weeks regarding a deal.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid are listed by 90min as having made contact, with the 25-year-old keen to leave for Champions League football.
Everton are expected to make at least one major sale this summer as they suffer financially following the sanctioning of Alisher Usmanov earlier this year due to his links with Russia, and Richarlison is top of the list when it comes to assets at the club.
Boom
It will be a real shame if or when Richarlison leaves the club, but if he is to leave then we should be doing all we can to ensure he goes abroad.
The Brazil international is the type of player to give 100 percent in every game no matter the circumstances, as we have seen over the last four years that he’s been at the club.

That means should we sell him to a Premier League side, it would be inevitable that he would end up coming up against us at some point in the season and hurting us with a goal or assist.
To avoid that, and still give him what he wants and earn us the cash we need, a move abroad suits everyone best and thankfully he isn’t short of any interest there.
Hopefully the board can find a way to function without selling him, but if he must leave then it has to be to our maximum benefit and that means no Premier League clubs allowed.
