Everton must do everything to keep Donny van de Beek after recent news
Everton have received a major boost in keeping Donny van de Beek at Goodison Park after the latest news that has come from Manchester United.
The Daily Mail reported on June 10 that the Red Devils have held talks with Barcelona over a £65million move for Frenkie de Jong with the midfielder wanting to link up with his former boss Erik ten Hag.
There is likely to be a catalogue of changes at Old Trafford as the former Ajax manager looks to stamp his mark on the squad amid the Blues’ loanee’s return but his Netherlands international teammate’s arrival could be devastating.

De Jong’s arrival could see van de Beek out of favour in Manchester like he was before which forced him to move to Merseyside for more game time.
Hope.
According to an Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera on 8 June, the Toffees loanee is open to leaving his parent this summer.
There is no chance that he would want to go back and sit on the bench after reading the latest reports.
Van de Beek’s previous spell at the club was so bad that The Mirror previously reported on February 20 that he wanted to stay on Merseyside permanently and surely the Dutchman doesn’t want to go through that again.

The maestro was massively disrespected at United – it was such a shame to see. His talent was wasted but it certainly won’t be with the Blues.
Frank Lampard is desperate for players with the quality and experience of the 25-year-old – he would undoubtedly be the best midfielder in the squad if he can replicate the form he showed in the Champions League in 2018/19 as well as in Holland.
Everton must try everything in their power to keep hold of the United ace because replacing him will not be easy or cheap.
