Harry Redknapp: Everton striker Richarlison ‘can drive you mad’ despite having immense ability
Harry Redknapp believes Everton striker Richarlison can “drive you mad” at times despite having the ability to be a top player.
It has been revealed by UOL Esporte journalist Bruno Andrade on Saturday 11 June, that Tottenham are in talks over a deal for the 25-year-old Brazilian.
Former Spurs manager Redknapp believes the Everton man has the ability but is infuriated by his theatrics at times.

Redknapp told talkSPORT breakfast on Tuesday 14 June: “He [Richarlison] has got ability, there is no doubt about that.
“He can drive you mad though at times when you see him diving about, and whatever he gets up to.
“He can certainly play, though, and scores, and he has managed to get assists.”
Frustrating at times
Richarlison is a typical example of a player that you would be happy to have on your side but absolutely hate to play against.
His diving and theatrics can be frustrating but, ultimately, that is part of modern-day football at present and it’s hard to blame the Brazilian for occasionally going to the ground easily.
He has had a slight narrative built up around his theatrics in recent weeks.
There are plenty worse in the Premier League when it comes to diving than Richarlison, all you need to do is look to the red side of Merseyside at a particular left-footed winger.

It promises to be an intriguing couple of weeks when it comes to Richarlison’s future with Frank Lampard potentially happy to let the Brazilian leave the club in order to generate funds to overhaul his squad.
The Brazilian would be huge shoes to fill at Goodison Park and whether letting the 25-year-old leave the club is a good decision remains to be seen.
In other Everton news, the Toffees have submitted a bid to seal a major summer signing and the player is already on his way to England.
