Everton takeover should not interrupt Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium build
The new Everton stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock should be completed regardless of a rumoured takeover of the club, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The Telegraph reported on 14 June that a consortium led by Peter Kenyon, with significant funding from Maciek Kaminski, were interested in buying the Toffees off current owner Farhad Moshiri.
The current asking price for such a deal is reported to be around £500million but the newcomers would also have to ensure they have the funds available to complete the stadium build which could be another £500million.

The Liverpool Echo now reports that regardless of who owns the football club over the next couple of years, this state-of-the-art stadium is going to be finished without interruption.
But there is a possibility that Moshiri holds out on selling the club until the new ground is finished as he would likely receive a much higher price for his main asset as a result.
Required
As much as we all love Goodison Park, a fresh start is very much required and it is great to hear that any potential change of hands isn’t going to affect those plans.
Our current home may have been coolly retro for a while in the Premier League but it is now going past that to painfully old-fashioned and it is time we moved out and started again in the 21st century.

Away teams are still getting changed in a storage container in the car park because of how tight the confines of the old dressing rooms are and the lingering worry of COVID-19 which is just not acceptable.
We’ve seen West Ham leave their forever home of the Boleyn Ground for the London Stadium and they’ve suddenly become a European-challenging club which is where we should be aiming too.
But players don’t want to come and play in an outdated arena so the quicker we can move into our new home, Moshiri or not, the better.
In other Everton news, we could live to regret letting one of our former board members leave as he is about to pen a deal with one of our Premier League rivals.
