Seamus Coleman impact on Everton squad clear after Mason Holgate view
Seamus Coleman’s positive impact on his Everton teammates has yet again been proven after Mason Holgate’s recent admission.
The Irishman will undoubtedly go down in the Blues’ history books having appeared for them 329 times in the Premier League, having a hand in 45 goals as well as 89 clean sheets along the way.
At 33-years-old, he is one of the more senior players in the squad and he uses his experience to help his teammates.

Holgate told evertonfc.com: “I don’t overly look for someone to speak to and I don’t deliberately internalise things. I will talk to anybody if I think they can help me.
“Seamus could see it was difficult for me at the start of the season, he kept speaking to me and kept me going. I always believe that if I keep working hard, something will go in my favour down the line.”
Legend.
It will be a sad, sad day when Coleman eventually leaves the club. The defender has been a magnificent servant for the Toffees ever since coming to Merseyside way back in 2009.

His contributions to this club will see him go down as a legend and rightly so – even now he has the same drive and passion to give his everything for the blue shirt and that has to be respected.
During the 2021/22 campaign, you could see his legs were going – the right-back looked to be very much out of favour during the Blues’ relegation crisis.
He was continuously caught out by quick, tricky wingers and it looked as if his days at the top were over.
Thankfully, a tweak in the system by Frank Lampard saw Coleman shine on the right side of a back three and long may it continue.
He has one year left on his contract and will undoubtedly want to end his Toffees career on a high.
