Everton will have to battle Crystal Palace for Tottenham Hotspur ace Harry Winks with the Londoners eyeing a move for the ace, according to a report by Daily Mail.
Having survived Premier league relegation in 2021/22 Frank Lampard will look to strengthen his squad in the summer with the central midfield being an area of concern for the Blues.
The 26-year-old only featured 19 times in the league last season with many of those appearances coming from the bench – bagging three-goal involvements along the way.
With Spurs confirming the signing of former Brighton ace Yves Bissouma, the England international is set to be “squeezed out” of Antonio Conte’s set-up.
Having extended his contract in 2019, the central midfielder’s current Tottenham Hotspur Stadium deal expires in 2024.

This move is impossible to call. Everything about Winks’ stats at Spurs suggests that he isn’t worth making a move for but there is more to football than stats alone.
He is a player who likes to keep possession and control the game for his team which is something that the Toffees desperately need.
The first thing Lampard looked to fix when coming to Everton was the midfield and it is probably in worse shape now than when he joined so he will be desperate to fix the issue ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Despite his lack of game time and notable impact, his experience at a top-six club could be a huge boost as the Merseysiders look to get back to the levels everybody knows they are capable of.
With that being said, could this be yet another big-name Premier League flop that a club are palming off to the Blues because they simply don’t want him?
