Juventus offer Everton chance to sign Luca Pellegrini
Juventus have reportedly offered Everton the chance to secure the services of Italian left-back Luca Pellegrini this summer.
According to Corriere Dello Sport (June 20, pg 20), the Old Lady hierarchy have told the 23-year-old’s agent to explore different clubs as they look to part ways with him.
His agent Vincenzo Raiola is open to his client moving to a different league, including the Premier League, and Goodison Park is now a likely destination for him.
Another left-back?
One of the few good things of the 2021/22 campaign was the emergence of Vitaliy Mykolenko as a reliable first-team player.
Rafa Benitez sanctioned the sale of Lucas Digne and roped in the Ukrainian to replace the France international.

It took Mykolenko a while to get going under Frank Lampard, but he ended the season as one of the Toffees’ best players.
Signing Pellegrini would mean that the Italy international will start ahead of the Ukrainian as he will not want to be warming the bench at another club after he moves.
While the Toffees hierarchy would take the full-back described as “incredible” by Breaking The Lines, they have to consider the dynamics of the squad.
With so many other areas of the pitch still to be considered, it’s very likely that Frank Lampard vetoes this and turns his attention on signing a defender.
The club have made inroads to seal a major move for another defender while James Tarkowski is also expected to be announced as an Everton player sooner rather than later after leaving Burnley.
