Everton forward Richarlison on track to join Tottenham this week
Everton forward Richarlison is “on track” to complete a £60m move to Tottenham this week, according to a fresh report by UOL journalist Bruno Andrade.
The Brazilian has been linked with a move to the north London club, with reports on Tuesday [Telegraph, June 28] that Spurs had bid £20m + Steven Bergwijn to get a deal done.
Although that deal was rejected, UOL claim that the deal is moving in a positive direction despite interest from Chelsea and it could be completed by the end of the week.

While there is no agreement yet, it’s believed that £60m would be enough to convince the Toffees to part ways with the 25-year-old.
Richarlison is said to have agreed personal terms with the club on a five-year deal, which would run until 2027.
Bidding war please
If Chelsea really are interested in bringing in Richarlison, then we should be doing all we can to drag this deal out and encourage a bidding war to get as much money as we can.
£60m seems like a fair price on paper, considering that he has two years remaining on his deal at the club as well as the fact we paid £50m for him four years ago.

But if Everton can get more, and we definitely can when you consider the current market rate for attacking players, then we should do all we can to do so.
Spurs want to rush to get the deal done, so the pressure is on them to offer what we want financially. We have our own business to get done and the money would do us well, but we’re the team with leverage in this situation.
It’s about time Everton start acting like the big club we are and standing firm on our valuations to get the best possible deal we can, in order to adequately replace him when he finally does leave.
