Alan Myers backs Everton swoop to sign Watford forward Emmanuel Dennis
Alan Myers wouldn’t be surprised if Everton were to sign Watford striker Emmanuel Dennis this summer after the Hornets were relegated from the Premier League.
The Sky Sports News reporter was talking about the impending sale of Richarlison, stating: “Players come and go, the most important thing this summer is who owns the club going forward.
Myers was then asked by a fan on Twitter if Everton will make a move for the Watford forward.
He replied: “Wouldn’t surprise me.”
Filling the Richarlison-shaped hole
With the likely sale of Richarlison, Frank Lampard will have a huge player in his team to replace, but in Dennis, it is clear that he is sniffing in the right direction.
Dennis was a revelation for a poor Watford team last season and was by far their signing of the season.
The Nigerian international moved to Vicarage Road just last summer from Club Brugge in Belgium and went on to score 10 goals and net six assists in an impressive debut season in England.

The former Koln and Zorya Lugansk forward had a handy knack for being in dangerous positions, finishing off chances as well as taking on defenders, beating them with daring skills, and setting up opportunities for his teammates.
Losing Richarlison would be a monumental blow, but if Everton do go for Dennis, he would go a long way to replacing the Brazilian’s reliable and valuable attacking output.
