Everton likely to lose out in race of Luis Sinisterra to Leeds United – report
Everton are likely to lose out on Feyenoord winger Luis Sinisterra to league rivals Leeds United, according to De Telegraaf.
The Toffees are in the market to sign an attacking player, especially after the departure of Richarlison who joined Tottenham Hotspur.
One of the targets for Everton was Sinisterra but according to The Athletic, Leeds are already leading the race to sign the player in the coming days.

As per De Telegraaf, the situation might change but only if the Merseyside club come up with a big offer.
As Frank Lampard knows that he has lost a big player on a huge transfer fee this summer, it is important that he replaces the outgoing Brazil international instantly. And what better replacement to find than Sinisterra.
Now obviously, the big issue is him linking up with his teammates. The Premier League doesn’t have a fantastic record of Dutch wingers recently.
We have seen the likes of Memphis Depay and Steven Bergwijn who joined the English clubs recently but both of them failed to adapt.

However, with the kind of personality that Siniesterra has, there is a reason why the Premier League clubs are willing to offer big money to sign him.
In the 2021-22 season, the Colombia winger scored 23 goals and provided 14 assists across all competitions [Transfermarkt].
He was one of the best performers in the UEFA Europa Conference League as he made 10 goal contributions in the season, which was the highest at the club.
He can play in any of the attacking positions and will be a huge player for Everton and relieve some of the goalscoring pressure on Dominic Calvert Lewin if that is his destination.
