Everton looking to challenge Premier League rivals for Morgan Gibbs-White
Everton have joined the race for Wolves midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White, according to TalkSPORT.
Gibbs-White had a stellar season on loan at Sheffield United from Wolves last season, scoring 11 league goals and assisting nine more as The Blades made the play-offs.
Paul Heckingbottom unsurprisingly wants him back at Bramall Lane next season, but TalkSPORT report that Everton have now joined the race.

The report names Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest as the two clubs rivalling Everton, but the Daily Mail reported on Monday morning (4 July) that Southampton and Crystal Palace are also interested.
Everton’s interest in Gibbs-White comes after talks surrounding a move for Harry Winks has quietened down after he was with Everton linked by Sky Sports back in June.

Is Gibbs-White the man they need?
Do not be fooled by his limited Premier League experience, Gibbs-White is an immensely talented player.
He has had two spells away from Wolves during his career, spending time at Championship side Swansea City in 2020.
While injury limited him to just five league appearances for The Swans, he was still able to get two goal contributions.
He burst into life with The Blades last season and scooped up their Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards.
At Wolves, he has had to compete with Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho for playing time, but can clearly flourish on his own.
For an idea of other midfielders that have struggled for game time at Wolves despite their quality, just look at Vitinha.
The Portuguese midfielder started just five times on loan at Wolves during the 2020/21 season, yet one year on he has joined Paris Saint Germain.
Gibbs-White is still young at 22, but clearly has bags of ability and has now developed an eye for goal, representing a much better option in midfield than Winks.
The one stumbling block could be a transfer fee, with it currently be unclear if Wolves want to loan him out again or move him on permanently.
Regardless, Gibbs-White is the perfect player to upgrade Everton’s midfield this summer and they should pull out all the stops to bring him in.
