Everton must capitalise on Watford financial situation seal deal for Emmanuel Dennis
Watford are looking to cut their wage budget by 30% this summer and this leaves the door open for Everton to make a move for Nigerian forward Emmanuel Dennis.
The Mirror reported on 5 July that the Toffees are preparing a bid for the 24-year-old striker.
Frank Lampard could well have received a boost in his pursuit of Dennis after The Athletic reported on 4 July that the Hornets are looking to offload up to 18 players and will listen to suitable offers for Dennis and his teammate Ismaila Sarr.

It was also reported by The Athletic’s Adam Leventhal on 5 July, that Dennis has not travelled with the Hornets on their pre-season tour of Austria.
It appears that the 24-year-old will be departing Vicarage Road this summer and Lampard could well secure the 24-year-old on a bargain deal with Watford looking to offload some of their highest earners.
With the Toffees finally receiving a transfer fee after Richarlison departed the club, it is crucial that Everton reinvest into the squad in a smart manner.

A move for Dennis would be exactly that with Everton looking for good value in the market.
He has plenty of Premier League experience and is coming into the prime of his career at present.
Regardless of the forward playing Premier League football last season, it is important that the Toffees delve into the Championship market to try and unearth some hidden gems.
Players can be picked up cheaply, developed and then sold on for profit.
It is certainly a route the Toffees should be going down more often.
