Frank Lampard can transform Charles De Ketelaere into world-class player at Everton

Everton are the latest Premier League club to show interest in Club Brugge star winger Charles De Ketalaere, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport on July 8.

The Toffees are in the market to sign an attacking player in the ongoing transfer window, especially after the departure of Richarlison who joined Tottenham Hotspur.

Therefore, as per the latest report, they are interested in making a move for the Belgium international but are facing competition from league rivals Leeds United and Serie A champions AC Milan.

Attacking Midfielder

Lampard understands that after the selling of Richarlison to Spurs, his attack has a lot of problems. He cannot rely on Dominic Calvert-Lewin for the entire season, especially considering the problems he had during the last campaign.

Therefore, he needs such players at the club who can take away some of the goalscoring pressure and De Ketelaere could be that player.

At Chelsea and Derby County respectively, we have already seen how Lampard was influential in the development of youngsters in particular Mason Mount.

Therefore, it can be foreseen that he will have a similar impact on the development of De Ketelaere as well which would be extremely beneficial, not for the Merseyside club but for the player as well.

In the previous campaign, De Ketelaere was extremely influential for the club as in 49 appearances in all competitions, he scored 18 times and provided 10 assists in the process [Transfermarkt].
