Everton fan group tell Farhad Moshiri ‘enough is enough’ in passionate letter

The Everton supporters group called ’27 Years Campaign’ have sent a passionate letter to Farhad Moshiri over his future at the club.

The businessman with a 94% ownership of the football club released a statement on 14 July to reassure fans that he was not interested in selling the club although he could be swayed by some smaller investments where possible.

But that has not pleased the 27 Years Campaign who have responded with a letter asking Moshiri to leave the club at the earliest opportunity after a turbulent time on Merseyside.

“We have to be direct with you and say that your and your board’s response to the fans is inadequate and shows a lack of respect,” the letter reads.

“This cannot continue. Whilst all Evertonians will continue to back Frank Lampard and the team to the hilt, we must demand more from you and we will highlight your lack of engagement and the continued poor management of the club in the run-up to the new season.

“Enough is enough, Mr Moshiri. Respond, explain the possible change of ownership, your plans for the club, the changes to the running of the club that is desperately needed.”

You won’t find many Everton fans who don’t agree with what the 27 Years campaign, who recently put banners around Goodison Park in protest of the club’s ownership, have had to say there.

Everton

Things have been going downhill for far too long now and yet we still have the same owners making the same mistakes over and over again.

We’ve all been in a situation where we’ve done something wrong but we keep on going trying to make it better but you have to realise when you need to stop digging the hole and get out.

Moshiri is never going to come out the other side of this issue and the longer he stays at the club, the more hatred the fans will gain for him and Bill Kenwright, club chairman.

New owners would be the kick up the backside we have been waiting for over the past decade but with Moshiri staying as stubborn as ever, we may well be facing much more dark times to come.
