Everton put foot on gas to secure Morgan Gibbs-White transfer, Frank Lampard is big fan
Everton are still pushing to complete a deal to sign Wolves midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The reliable journalist has shared that the Toffees are putting their foot on the gas for the England youth international, despite seeing one offer already rejected.
Romano reports that Frank Lampard is a massive fan of Gibbs-White, with a move still possible with negotiations surely set to kickstart once again.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Romano shared the latest on the new midfielder hunt at Goodison Park, with reinforcements needed.
“Everton are still pushing to sign Morgan Gibbs-White after opening bid turned down by Wolves,” he wrote.
“Lampard, big fan.”
Get it done.
Everton are finally springing into action.
Could Gibbs-White and then Maxwel Cornet be the two new faces to transform our fortunes going into next season and beyond in the Premier League? We certainly hope so.
Lampard is clearly trying to bring more of an attacking edge into the side, especially after losing one of most influential figures in the shape of Richarlison.
Cornet can play in a variety of different positions, where Gibbs-White can spearhead the midfield three ahead of Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure most likely.
Adding goals all over the pitch will be crucial, as we cannot afford to rely on a couple of players as we did last season with Richarlison and Anthony Gordon.
Lampard is a big fan, and we hope that can persuade Gibbs-White to move up to Everton, and become the main figure in this side, rather than sitting on the sidelines at Wolves – that isn’t good for any young player.
