Huddersfield Town want to sign Everton striker Ellis Simms
Everton striker Ellis Simms is attracting interest from Championship club Huddersfield Town, according to the Huddersfield Daily Examiner.
The newspaper reported on Tuesday, July 26 (page 31) that the Terriers are one of many sides in England’s second-tier of football who are interested in making a move for the 21-year-old.
Ellis became a hot property in English football after spending successful loan spells at Scottish club Hearts and league rivals Blackpool in the last few seasons.

One for the Future
It has been a transfer window full of frustration for Everton manager Frank Lampard. With so many players going to all the different Premier League clubs and nothing happening at Goodison Park, no wonder that the former Chelsea manager would be frustrated.
The Toffees have only signed one player this summer — James Tarkowski on a free deal after his contract with Burnley came to an end.
However, day after day, they are losing their transfer targets to other clubs who are also expected to be involved in a relegation battle.

If they cannot make signings, it is important that Lampard has a proactive approach and starts getting the best out of the young potential that he has currently in the squad.
We have already seen the potential of Jarrad Branthwaite and Anthony Gordon at Goodison Park.
With the way Simms has performed for Hearts and Blackpool in the last couple of seasons, Lampard must try and integrate him into the side as well just as he has done in the past with the likes of Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount.
